Our own, Maryanna Klatt, PhD of the Ohio State University was recently featured in the article, “This Mental Practice Can Lower Stress Levels, Even In The Intensive Care Unit” about her study on workplace mindfulness-based intervention. Here is a link for a video describing the program.

The University of Chicago's Culinary Medicine's program has also made the news with a new program by group of medical students at the University of Chicago will soon be starting a Food as Medicine workshop series led by local chefs and its founder Dr. Geeta Maker-Clark, an integrative family physician.  See:,, and
