Integrative Medicine MD/DO
Boulder, Colorado

We are looking for a medical doctor or DO to join our well established integrative healthcare clinic in Boulder.

NatureMed is an integrative medical clinic which focuses on the patient and providing truly integrative care. We are a cash pay practice which provides integrative care based upon the principles of naturopathic medicine. Our clinic has 4 naturopathic doctors, an MD, a medical assistant and two receptionists. Patient care is directed by an integration of conventional and Naturopathic medicine. We offer preventive cardiology, IV therapy, Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, Natural approaches to auto-immune conditions and more. We are experts in natural alternatives to prescription drugs, lifestyle modification, clinical nutrition and botanical medicine. We believe in the integration of medical care. We have excellent relationships with specialty providers in the area and around the state. We have focused on bridging the gap between alternative and conventional medicine since our clinic opened in 2004.

If you are an MD or a DO who has always wanted to build a private practice in Boulder without the hassle of overhead and business details then this opportunity is optimal. We are looking for an MD who would be interested in building their own practice at NatureMed. This is an opportunity to learn about alternative medicine on the job and become an expert. The MD/DO on staff will also need to fill prescriptions and IV orders for NatureMed patients. Experience in alternative medicine and our unique offerings is desired, however not required. This is an excellent opportunity for an MD who wants to get out of the insurance and hospital model of patient care and into the model of practicing medicine and addressing the underlying causes of disease. This is an opportunity to establish a name and practice without the hassle of overhead. The job is part-time and minimum of about 10 hours a week if just to order IV's and fill prescriptions, however we would prefer an MD who would like to build a practice which could be busier if desired. This is a small clinic with team care for patients between the MD and ND's. Working as a team in a like-minded way is imperative to the position.
